A Cottage Garden, Five Fabric Bundles, and a Calm Sewing Day

Hey Quilting Friend 💛,

Have you ever sat down to sew…
looked at your fabric pile…
and thought, “Why does choosing fabric feel harder than the sewing?”

That feeling is actually what inspired today’s YouTube video.

I’ve been spending time curating a little cottage-inspired fabric collection — the kind of fabrics that feel calm, usable, and welcoming the moment you touch them. Think quiet mornings, open windows, soft light, and a quilt slowly coming together on the table.

🏡 In today’s video, I’m sharing five Cottage Garden fat quarter bundles:

• Mouse in the House — cozy, quiet neutrals
• Blue Sky — calm, airy blues
• Flowers in the Garden — fresh greens, tans, and florals
• Roots & Moss — earthy browns and grounded greens
• Midnight at the Cottage — soft greys fading into deep evening tones

Each bundle was curated to work together, to play nicely with your stash, and to help you start sewing instead of second-guessing.

🧺 Fabric details (because I know you’ll ask) 😃:

  • Fat quarters are $3.25 each

  • Want ½-yard cuts? Simply purchase a quantity of 2

I hope this video feels like a gentle invitation — not to do more, but to choose fabrics that make sewing feel good again.

I’ll be back soon with more calm quilting ideas, but for now…
go pour a cup of something warm and enjoy a little stroll through the cottage garden with me. 💛

Cheers to Quilting your Legacy™,
Emily

P.S. If one bundle feels like your colors — trust that instinct. That’s usually where the best quilts begin. 👇 *Click photo*
