This started with one weird fabric and a little courage…

Hey Quilting Friend, 😄

This week’s video started with one weird fabric and a little courage.

I was digging through the very last bits from a bolt—those pieces that are too small to sell by the yard, too big to call scraps—and I caught myself thinking… “Why do I hang on to these?”

But then I remembered: this is exactly where creativity begins.

The odd sizes, the forgotten prints, the colors that don’t quite go together. Those are the fabrics that challenge you. Surprise you. And honestly? They often become your favorite parts of the quilt.

So I made a video just for that feeling.

👉 Watch: Creative Ways to Use Fabric You Forgot About

In this week’s episode, I’m sharing:

  • ✅ How to turn “what do I do with this?” into “look what I made!”
  • ✅ Tips for using Final Spark fabrics (like ⅜ yard cuts or leftover strips)
  • ✅ $2 stash-friendly patterns like Limerick, Rail Fence Remix, Stars & Ribbons, and Basket Case
  • ✅ Encouragement to use your fabric, not just store it

You’ll even get a peek at some of the Final Spark fabrics I’ve gathered on the site—no pressure, just fun ideas to spark your next quilt.

💬 I’d love to know:
What’s one fabric you’ve been holding onto… and what might you make with it now?

Leave a comment on the video or hit reply—I’d love to cheer you on.

Here’s to making the most of what we already have (and loving it a little more in the process). 💛

Warmly,
