Unfinished Quilts, 4-Leaf Clovers & a Fresh Start 🍀

Hi Quilting Friend,  😃

You know how sometimes you just have to start—even if it’s messy, raw, or imperfect?

That’s exactly what I did this week. I hit "record" and stitched together the very first episode of my new YouTube series:

Quilting Your Legacy: Stitching Life Together.
Blending story, stitches, and soul—one quilt at a time.

It’s Episode #001, and it’s full of heart, unfinished projects, and the sweet chaos of starting something new.

In it, I share a few UFOs (Un-Finished Objects), and a story about how much I love finding 4-leaf clovers.

But here’s the part I accidentally left out while being adorably distracted by George (my anxious little pup, who was sitting dramatically on the stairs)...

We were at George Washington’s house (yes, really!), and while taking a sip of water, I looked down—and there it was.

A good-sized 4-leaf clover, right at my feet. 🍀

That’s when Nathan—my late husband—looked at me and said,
“Right place, right time.” 💚

It’s one of those quotes that’ll make more sense after you watch the video.
